Open Innovation Leader from Thai Union and #Space-F project with Dr. Lalana Teerasornukuj I CMMU Mahidol

SPACE F Program: A Collaboration among Mahidol University, Thai Union and NIA

Food industry has contributed to approximately 20% of our national GDP. In order to strengthen this important industry, the integration of science and innovation, good management, and supporting eco system is essential.
Dr Lalana Teerasornukit, Open Innovation Leader from Thai Union, visited #CMMU and discussed #SpaceF program, a collaboration among Mahidol University, NIA, and Thai Union, aims to support food startups and entrepreneurs worldwide. The program will empower food #entrepreneurs who need technical support from the industry, science and #businessschool.
More importantly, SpaceF provides technical and business learning and experiences for global food startup who need innovation, and seek potential venture capital. The program is now open for applications for #incubator and #accelerator programs.
#CMMU will provide essential #management skills that are relevant to novel food industry. Our training will include essential #finance #strategy #marketing #sustainable management and strategic #foresight in the global food market. We will also provide training in the area of food management and novel ideas for food in the post #COVID 19 context.
Technology is the backbone for the global sustainable food industry. #CMMU and other faculties at #Mahidol university will work towards the success of this concept in order to strengthen Thailand as the ‘kitchen of the world.’
